Dr. Michael O. Onwochei is a retired medical scientist and teacher. For over twenty years, he was active in laboratory research, mainly in cardiovascular research. He also taught medical and other health care students. Physiology and Biophysics is his area of concentration for his doctorate (Ph.D.). His postdoctoral study was in Cardiovascular Sciences. Between 1979 and 1998, he published numerous papers in various journals, including: American Journal of Physiology; Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology; and Hypertension.
